Adleigh had her hearing checked today and although she wouldn’t let them check her ears (the extensive test) They did determine that she can ear in..AT LEAST ONE EAR, haha So I guess that is good.
The girls had dance this afternoon.
We went over to Deb’s for dinner because both of our husbands were working/school late and we wanted to hang out!!
FridayJed and Zeke had school.
Adleigh met with a Speech pathologist and found that she is about at a 9-12month age range on expressive speech. I knew she was behind but I was way surprised. She didn’t really do very well in the room with the speech therapist. She tends to ignore strangers (and most people). I am very worried that they are going to find something else “wrong” with her. She did tell me that there are a few things that concern her but she isn’t really to diagnose until she has seen her for awhile. So we are now starting speech therapy every week.
We met Megan and her boys for lunch today, it was nice meeting up with them!
SaturdayJed had to go in to school today.
Zeke had his first basketball game of the season and did every well.

We then were over to Meredith’s house – wayyyy to many kiddos over there at once, hehe
ThursdayEveryone had school today.
Tatum and Braia stayed for lunch bunch.
Adleigh went to another Speech therapy class; it had been 2 weeks because we couldn’t get an appointment. I had spent most of these past weeks working with her on the games the therapist taught us and I have really seen SOME improvement in her speech. She still has a long way but I feel like this is really going to help her. Although, as I am reading up on her “problem” I am starting to think that there could be some other things going on. She is a little “different” than my other kids were at her age and I am just not sure if it is because she hasn’t been able to hear for awhile or behavioral, or something else. I have to admit that I have spoiled her a TON more than the other kids but I really thought she was my last baby and then she was always sick for like a year straight, so she always has gotten everything she wants and I let her get away with more than I probably should. I guess we will see what happens when we met with ChildFind (a school district program) because they will do EVERY test on her. I really hope that she is okay…
The girls went to dance this afternoon.
FridayJed and Zeke went to school today.
I took the girls to my ultrasound this morning to find out what we are having…a baby BOY! I was totally shocked and couldn’t believe it. We have wanted another little boy with every baby (but I do love my girls) and I definitely SAW that it was DEFINITELY a boy. I kept it a secret from everyone all day long and baked a cake, letting everyone know that the cake would be colored either BLUE or PINK, depending on what the gender it. Jed wouldn’t stop calling and texting begging me to tell him, hehe everyone came over that night and we all made guesses (or course most guessed a girl). Well…when we cut into the cake, everyone started screaming and clapping. My mom kept saying, “Really!?!?” Zeke was so excited, I started getting a little teary eyed because he was so excited. He said he wants to share his room…”although, once he starts sleeping through the night,” he added. Looks like our family will finally be complete! ZEKE gets his BROTHER!
SaturdayJed had to work at best buy this morning.
Zeke had a late afternoon game, which was nice because Jed got to attend!
The boys got the lights put up on the house since we are gone the week of Thanksgiving when we would normally do it, looks great!
