Week of August 9-15, 2009

We had a family birthday party for Jed on Sunday. Then Tatum got to spend the night for her first time EVER at Popper and JoJo's!
Adleigh is still not feeling better, we think her ear is still bugging her.
We went to the YMCA everyday this week.
We found out that Zeke got Mr. L for 1st grade, he REALLY wanted him AND he has pet snakes that Zeke couldn't be more thrilled about :)

We went to the Meet the Teacher: Ice Cream Social.
Benjamin and Kierstin moved here on Thursday, my kid's couldn't be more excited!
Lindsey and Spencer came into town EARLY Saturday morning.
We had family pictures taken Saturday evening since EVERYONE was here at the SAME time!
We met Vanessa and her girls at the Broomfield Rec for some swimming.
I had my first PTO meeting of the school year.
Jed's last day working at Eldorado was on Thursday, we are sad but excited for the new adventure's to come.

We went shopping on Friday for all of Jed's "school" supplies...you wouldn't believe how expensive these things are!

Week of August 2 - 8, 2009

I made this yummy Yogurt Chicken on Sunday, I know sounds gross but it's really good!
The YMCA was closed all week, I went totally insane, I like my 1.5 hour breaks :)
I hit a new mark for running...4 MILES...Jed pushed me and I am so glad he did, it felt so great to accomplish it!
ELENA came over with her kid's on Tuesday for lunch and play time. We haven't played with them in a really long time, it was nice catching up.
I went for another 4 mile run on Tuesday and did it in 45 miles, wow! That is good for ME!
Jed's last week of school!!

We went to the Boulder Y with Vanessa to swim on Wednesday.
We celebrated Jed's birthday on Wednesday, he turned 32...getting pretty old ;)

PA came over on Thursday for some chatting and playing. She is a blast to hang out with!
The kid's had their BACK TO SCHOOL party on Friday, it turned out real nice and fun! It flooded out backyard tho :) OH and I ran over one of the kid's bike, oops! I felt so bad!!

Adleigh went to  the doctor's as well and we found out she has ANOTHER ear infection, they are thinking of doing surgery again with bigger TUBES, poor baby girl, she just can't catch a break!

My parents bought dinner over on Friday evening.
We went to the Boulder County Fair on Saturday, lots of fun!
The Brady's youngest son got married, we attended the wedding.

Week of July 26 - August 1, 2009

Jed FINALLY fixed all of our screens in the windows, the kid's like to destory them :(
Kid's got to take a bubble bath on Tuesday, they enjoyed that, I NEVER let them take a bath, I perfer showers!
DEB came over to play on Wednesday and brought yummy donuts, so bad!
Deb let me borrow her water bouce house, so we pulled it out on Friday to let the kid's play.

Austin and my Parents came over on Friday evening, Austin ended up staying till midnight talking!
Boxed up my DVDs covers and organized them into their own book.
Zeke and I did our annual school shopping, he has all of his supplies and it cost under $30, what!?
Austin came over Saturday night to play rock band, it was fun, we hadn't played in awhile!

Okay, so I am getting really far behind and to catch up I am just going to highlight each week instead of going through our schedule :)

Week of July 19 - 25, 2009

Left Glennwood Springs on Sunday, after a hike ( half a mile) with the kids.
Went to the YMCA 6 days.
Carson came over to play with Zeke.
I met the "old" treasurer at the bank to get my name on the school account...I guess I'm stuck now!
Went to our monthly VT dinner.
Swam at the Boulder Res with Deb and then got ice cream at DQ, yum!
Jed and I went out on Friday to a movie, The Ugly Truth, we really enjoyed it!
We took the kid's swimming at the Brm Rec Center.
After dinner, we met Austin for dessert on Saturday.

That sums up the week ;)

Jed turned 32 today!!

He made it another year...married to ME...and with FOUR kid's!

Simple Things...

My girls have really gotten into FLOWERS...picking them...from ANYWHERE...no matter if I say NO or not...sorry, if we have been to your house recently :)

Yummy!

Our garden is finally starting to produce some food...so far we have gotten FRESH Sugar Snap Peas, Roman Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Strawberries, Green Onions...and a couple of Carrots! It is so much fun for the kid's to pick the garden!
