Back and Never leaving...
SIN CITY - Las Vegas, NVWell, I left my kids for the first time ever...4 days of peace and quiet...relaxation and tranquility...okay, whatever...if I wasn't being texted or called by Jed asking a question, forgetting how to do something, kids getting sick (or so he thought)...then I was bored and missing my babies. It was the longest 4 days. I guess I am use to being busy ALL DAY LONG, that I don't know what to do with myself by myself. First of all, we had no plans on Monday, the only flight my dad could get was at 7:15pm. So we sat around the hotel all morning and by 3pm, we thought we might as well go waste time at the airport. As we were headed to the airport, seriously, it SPRINKLED, maybe you could call it LIGHT RAIN...okay, so it's getting close to the time when we are suppose to leave and we notice that it's now delayed 15 minutes, I was annoyed but nothing I can do and they said that the airport was shut down DUE TO WEATHER, ahhh there wasn't any weather...then it is delayed an hour...two hours past the point of when we were suppose to be headed home we are sitting on the plane. After we get into our seats we realize that we had been sitting there quiet awhile, I was very frustrated, tired and just wanted to get home so I could sleep in my own bed...it was about 9:45pm and the captain announces that we are on our way but we have to wait in line to take off and that there are 17 PLANES in front of us!!!!! So 30 minutes later we are up in the hair, so around 10:30pm we are finally headed home!! It was the slowest flight but they were nice enough (I guess) to give everyone free TV. Denver must really want us here because as soon as we land we get off the plane walk straight to Baggage Claim just as our suitcases are dropping, we walk right outside to where the airport shuttle was waiting and as we get on the bus, he closes the door and drops us off FIRST at the car!! We couldn't believe that it took 30 minutes from where the plane stopped at the gate to our car!! Anyways, 12:00am I FINALLY walk in the door...glad to be home and NEVER LEAVING!! ;)BUT two good things did come from this trip...
#1 I learned a whole lot of ideas and ways to help my day's company to better and grow, which was the whole point of the trip. Hopefully this year, during tax season, he will do AMAZING!
#2 Jed, my mom and Austin got a TASTE of what I go through EVERY day ALL day...never gets a break ;) My mom FINALLY said, "Now I know why your house isn't always clean," well, duh! As I clean one room, they destroy the next. I think everyone now understands that I have a bad day or I'm annoyed with everyone...or even when I call to say, "TAKE THE KIDS FOR A FEW HOURS!" Hahahahaha Okay, so I feel a little prideful that I can control my household way better then anyone else, although, I was hoping to come home to no laundry or dirty dishes...I guess that will never happen...but the kids are alive, healthy and seem happy!! I couldn't wait to come home and hug and kiss them!!

MORE STYLES!
Twisty Bun
Part out the front (I did a side part) and clip in the front out of the way. Tie the rest of the hair into a pony. Then I sectioned the pony into 3 parts. The middle being the biggest section I pinned it under. I twisted the 2 side sections around the bun and pinned them as well. I normally would have used decorative pins but I couldn't find any, so anyways, normally you wouldn't see the bobby pins but at least it gives you an idea of where they should be!
Side view - Since the front was parted on the side, take each side and twist is towards the head until it reaches the bun and then pin it. Continuing twisting the hair until it starts to wrap around itself and pin it at the top of the bun...like I had mentioned before if you use ribbons or 'diamond' bobby pins you will not need to add anything else but like above - I would have added a flower or bow or something!

#3
Clip Pony
Again, start with a small section at the crown of the head and tie it. Gradually add a section from each side of the head and tie it to the original pony. I off centered them for a different look but you can make them straight. I then just used a clippie where each band was to hide it.
#4
Cross Braid
Section the head into 4 parts and tie each section. I then just braided each section and tucked it into the band.
I tied 4 bows around each braid!
Front view - I got so many compliments on this style! It was so darling.
