New Year's Eve

Well, we are all about starting NEW traditions and making time for our family. Jed and I were all planned on going out and spending the night together and leaving the kids home but We decided that for New Year's Eve every year(starting NOW) we are gonna do something with the kids...so we ate Chinese food, watched some movies, played some games and ate some YUMMY appetizers. Zeke kept saying, "We got TWO family night's this week!" My kids LOVE spending time with Jed and I, probably because the last 2 years Jed has worked mostly EVERY night and now he is home ALL the time! They having really been enjoying having him home more...

Our camera must have gone off while we were watching the new Narnia movie...but it was a perfect shot...everyone eating dinner and of course ME folding LAUNDRY while everyone is enjoying themselves...kidding, I actually LOVE doing laundry (seriously!).

Pretty Little Adleigh crawled around while everyone played games.

Me...falling asleep watching HELLBOY II

Zeke had so much fun...the girls went to bed so they didn't get to do them last night!

Jed "trying" to do a Noise Maker ;)

CHRISTMAS 2008

CHRISTMAS EVE 2008

Of course we started out with our traditional Christmas Eve Dinner...Hoogie's and Mom's Potato Soup!

Adleigh's Christmas Tutu!

All the girls in their Christmas Tutu's and Jojo

Pretty Girls! They love each other so much...

Tatum being...well, Tatum!

What Adleigh did during our Christmas Eve Program

Jed all serious! Probably yelling at the kids to sit down :)

Cutie Zekers!

Santa called during our program...the kids were so excited!!

Tatum couldn't stop laughing...

and Braia had to talk RIGHT INTO THE PHONE...thanks Grandpa for calling!!

Of course one of the Elder kids HAS to get hurt to make it an evening...Adleigh grabbed a bunch of papers and got some paper cuts that HONESTLY wouldn't STOP bleeding!! She ripped her Band Aid right off!

Mommy and her Bray-Bear!

We watching the Luke 2 video with the Amy Grant song (can't remember which one it is) but it is GREAT, you should try it...if you want let me know and I will tell you exactly what video and song it is. But it is nice for kids because they can watch the story instead of having a 2 year old sit and listen to the scripture story!

Of course I had to pull out my Guitar, its a ONCE a year thing...although I had so much fun going back through all the songs that I know that I played it for the past week and now my fingers are so hurting...I think I might leave it out, I really enjoy playing! Plus, there are some great new songs out that I would LOVE to learn to play :)

Austin reading "The Night before Christmas" to the kids...

All the kids had solo's this year...Zeke sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer...Braia sang Jing Bells and Tatum sang Santa Clause is Coming to Town! They did a great job!

Opening our ONE gift...of course they all got PJs!

After the prgoram we decorated cookies for Santa...and ate some ourselves!
