BOO and TAY were downstairs playing and Jed and I hear:

TAY: Pretend that the baby is dying in my belly, and take it out...and pretend I'm dying.
BOO: Babies don't die in the mom's belly.
TAY: Oh.
BOO: Your the mom TAY, mom's don't die...ONLY GRANDMA'S DO!

Hahahahaha...I guess that TAY has been watching too much GREY'S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE with me!!

again...Again...AGAIN...

This is seriously how Jed and I feel right now...so CAT had her tubes put in almost 2 weeks and ago and she has ANOTHER EAR INFECTION (in both ears!) I am about ready to scream!! I just want to know what she is like heathly, she has been so miserable and sick since August, we sometimes will get a glimps of who she REALLY is...a silly, goofy little girl...but most of the time she is irriable, crying, screaming, hitting, pushing, slapping, grunting bundle of tears. Anyways, so we saw the doctor today and he cleaned out her ears and gave her some drops and an antibotic...so I guess I am looking at the NEVER ENDING STORY...

Boo had school.
For St. Patrick's Day, I dressed all my kiddos up and took pictures, they looked so cute!
My parents took Boo for the day, he wasn't feeling very well and I didn't want him to get anyone else sick, so they spent the day with him, thanks!!
The girls went with me to the YMCA.
We visited our friend, Tina and her boys.
Bear had dance class.

Jed and I went out to the movies, we saw Duplicity and came home early because I had a HUGE headache!

We slept in!! Haven't done that in MONTHS!
Jed fixed out playhouse outside, yea him!
I cleaned all day long.
We met my parents and brother for dinner at Outback, it was my Dad's 53rd birthday!! We then went to Mad Cap, a comedy club. It was so much fun, ended up running into people I know from the Y, it was crazy!
Jed and I then went out to ice cream and came home. It was so nice to have 2 nights out this week...

**Again, I lost all my pictures AND my calendar, so I can't remember everything that happened this week, I just wrote what I remember :( **

Dating - July 2001

My life is lost!

Well, our sort of new computer broke this week. I realized that it wasn't recognizing my ipod or external hard drive...so finally frustrated enough we called HP this afternoon and spent all day (literally, from 2pm-9pm) trying to fix the problem. After 3 different people went over the SAME procedure with our computer, they realized that it is a hardware issue but luckily we are still in our warranty and there are fixing EVERYTHING. So we only lost most of our life (at least the last 3 months). Darn...plus the last week of pictures I took, I am very sad that my St. Patrick Day pictures are gone :( Anyways, so I am stuck using my old laptop that works as slow as my kid's do when I ask them to do something! Sooooo...we will see how this next week goes because I just LOVE my time on the computer...what will I do with my free time???

DUPLICITY

We saw DUPLICITY last night and it was terrible. It was like Ocean's Eleven but doesn't even come CLOSE to being as good. I am really disappointed. I love JULIA ROBERTS and CLIVE OWEN...there really wasn't a romantic spark between them. Dang!

SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 2009

We had waffles for breakfast, made by JED.

We went to church at 11am.
The CANNON'S came over for dinner, I made them the "famous" Buttermilk Chicken.
My FAMILY came over to see the kid's later that evening, we ended up watching Reflections of Christ. If I could be HALF the photographer that MARK MABEY is, just WOW!

MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2009

BOO and TAY had school.
BEAR, CAT and I went over to VANESSA'S house, I watched her 2 girls while she had a doctor's appointment. the above picture is bear and her daughter, SAM posing as "models." hehe
CAT had an appointment with Dr. Goldman regarding her ears. He went over the whole procedure and what I should expect. We have to be there at 6:30am in the morning!
TAY had dance class this afternoon. She learned more of her recital dance.
JED and I went to Parent Teacher Conference and found that BOO is doing AMAZING! He is reading at a D level (which we were told is very good, above kindergarten and most first grade levels). He is, though, acting like a "class clown" his teacher told us, so I guess he is feeling more comfortable at school!

TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2009

BOO went to kindergarten.
TAY, BEAR and CAT went with me to the YMCA this morning.
BEAR had dance class tonight, her class put on a show for all the PARENTS. It was the cutest little thing.
My parents both showed up at dinner...the kid's got really excited to see them!

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2009

BOO and TAY had school this morning.
BEAR and CAT went with me to the YMCA.
We met DEB and her kid's at McDonald's for lunch.
We spent this afternoon cleaning the playroom and going through the toys. My kid's destroy everything they touch, so needless to say, I threw away quite a few toys that were broken.
TAY had her Art Show this evening. It was nice that I got to take her and spend some time with her. We left early and decided to go shopping :) She told me that we can't tell dad because he doesn't like it when we shop, hahahaha

THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2009

Woke up at 6am and took CAT to the Flatiron's Surgery Center for her tubes. It all went well!
POPPER got to take BOO to school this morning. Uncle AUSTIN came over to watch the girls while I was gone. Thanks!!
We hung around home because of CAT...so I got to do NOTHING, it was nice to have a relaxing day!
BEAR had gymnastics this afternoon, JED took her with the 2 older kid's.

FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009

BOO had kindergarten this morning.
The GIRLS and I went to the YMCA and I tried a new class. It was good but I wore the wrong shoes, so I am sure it would have been better :)
I took the kid's to the BUTTERFLY PAVILION after lunch.
Our friend's, MARK and NIKKI, came over with their boys for dinner and to play. It was great getting to know them better!

SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2009

We got up early this morning and went to the Yoga/Pilates class.
I met a few friend's for lunch at PANERA BREAD. It was fun hanging out for a couple of hours.
Today, I took TAY to get her nails done and her hair cut. She had so much fun. They painted her nails and then put FLOWER'S on them. She thought it was the coolest thing!
We took the FAMILY out to dinner at Sweet Tomato, our kid's LOVE that place!
We were home early and JED and I spent the evening catching up on some TV shows :)

Reflections of Christ

Hello...can you hear me!?

Getting ready to LEAVE for the Flatirons Surgery Center...it was 6am...can you tell that I basically ROLLED out of bed :)

Dressed and ready to go? Hardly, every time a doctor OR nurse came in, CAT would SCREAM!

We HAD to bring her blank-ie, it always makes her feel better!

Just wanted to show how TINY she looked next to all the hospital stuff.

They wouldn't let me bring my camera into the operating room :) So here is an AFTER picture.

Everything went GREAT! I, of course, freaked out as they were putting her to sleep, she was just so scared and was struggling. I hate when my kid's need my help and I can't help them. Anyways, the Doc said everything went GREAT and her LEFT ear was really BAD. GLADLY, she did NOT scream afterwords. Everyone warned me that she would be inconsolable after the procedure but once I came into the room and was able to hold her, she laid on my chest and went to sleep. My poor baby girl! I am so glad that this is over and HOPEFULLY all ear infections are BEHIND us!

SUNDAY, MARCH 1, 2009

Today was fast Sunday, JED made his "famous" roast dinner in the crock pot so that after church we can RUSH home and eat :)
we spent the afternoon catching up on AMERICAN IDOL
My parents came over tonight for dessert and to see the grand kids. While they were here TAY got a little to wound up and jumped off the couch and hit the toy shopping cart and split her head open. My DAD and JED decided that she didn't need stitches but used a butterfly band aid...I told them I would be so MAD if her face was scarred because they just didn't want to make the trip!

MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2009BOO and TAY had school this morning. I took the younger 2 kid's to the YMCA and did an hour of cardio and then went home and ran on the treadmille for 30 more miutes. Had a great workout :)

CAT had her 15 month old well-baby checkup. She weighed 18lbs 10oz (fully clothed) which is in the 3% and was 29.25 inches, which is in the 20%. She is so tiny. I also talked with Doc B about her EARS. He was thrilled to know that we were going to see Dr. Goldman this afternoon about tubes.
Dr. Goldman checked CAT'S ears and did a pressure check. Her right ear was completely normal looking but her left ear was full of fluid and basically had no reaction to sound. So...she is like deaf in one ear!! Anyways, he said that tubes would be a GREAT idea for her...he was also concerned because she doesn't say ANY words and isn't really gaining weight. So we meet again with him next week to get the tubes in.
TAY had dance this afternoon. BEAR got to go watch, which was exciting to her because she had never watched TAY dance before.
I went to the Chiropractor today, my back has been hurting TONS lately.
We had TACOS for dinner tonight and for Family Home Evening we talked about Abraham and Issac.

TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2009BOO had school this morning. I went to the YMCA with the girls and did my weight training class.

We met PA and her BOYS at McDonald's for lunch. It was so nice to check up with her, it had been forever. She looked great and her baby was so BIG. My kid's were excited to get to play with Jauger!
BEAR had dance this afternoon. She is really enjoying her class.
BOO had basketball practice this evening. He is getting really good at dribbling.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 2009

BOO and TAY had school. The younger 2 girls and I went to the YMCA.

We met our friend's, the CANNON'S, at the park. It was a beautiful day. Although, CAT got to walk around and ended up falling and scrapping up her hand (poor thing), we ended up leaving early because everyone was being so whinny...so home to NAPS :)
We took a drive up to BRIGHTON once JED got home because I needed to do some computer work at the LIBERTY store.
The RS birthday party was this evening. I wet with my mom. It was nice to get away for the evening.

THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 2009

BOO had school this morning. The girls and I went to the YMCA.

CARSON came home with BOO from school. Those two have become such great friends. Although, the fight like brothers :)
BEAR had gymnastics this afternoon. JED and BOO went...BOO got to see a couple of friends from school there.
It was a really down day, which was nice to have!

FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2009

BOO had school, and the girls and I went to the YMCA this morning.
VANESSA and her girls SAM and EMILY came over for lunch and to play. Our girls play so good together. It was nice talking and hanging out for the afternoon.
We had a doctor appointment for CAT because I thought she had another ear infection and she has REALLY bad diaper rash...but good news is that she doesn't have an infection but her rash was SO bad that they gave us a prescription for it.
JED and I finally got to go out tonight...it was so nice. We decided to go see a couple of movies. We saw "He's just not that into you," which was GREAT, and "Taken" which was a relaly good movie as well. We are such movie freaks :) Thanks AUSTIN!!

SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2009We got up early and I went to the Yoga/Pilates class and JED took TAY to her last basketball game. I got to check the last 10 minutes. We are so excited that her season is over. She is just not that into basketball...at least right NOW.

BOO had his last game as well. He played really well and was sad that it was his LAST one for the season.
We got our house cleaned and moved the girls room around. It is such a small room and they have a HUGE bunk bed...but hopefully it would be more efficient with the furniture moved.
We got CHINESE got dinner, it was so yummy...love DOUBLE HAPPY!
