The colors...the memories...the symbols...the fireworks...BBQ...family time...EVERYTHING! It is a great Holiday and this will be the FIRST one that we wont have JED spending the day with us :( He will make it to the fireworks but it just WONT BE THE SAME!

FATHER'S DAY

I hope that JED realized how much his family loves him. We have definitely had our ups and downs but we are always here for each other no matter what. I love him more now than I did when we got married. I know that his kids love him so much. He is a good provider and role model. I made JED a video of the kid's with me asking them questions about their Dad. It was cute, funny and he really enjoyed it. I also made a picture video to music with all the photos of him and the kids. I really hope he had a good day!

We woke up early because the kid's did. We made sausages but couldn't make eggs because we forgot the pan :) I had some yogurt and fruit. We played around the site for awhile and then I took the kid's for a walk around the other camps. It is so beautiful up there!

We got home around noon and put ALL the kid's down for naps.

My MOM and I made dinner for everyone. We did Buttermilk chicken...both my DAD and JED love that meal. I also made my DAD a video picture movie, he seemed to like it. We then gave him a gift certificate to one of his favoirte stores. It was nice evening, VERY relaxing!

I took the kid's to the YMCA this morning.

We then took our lunch to the park and met TINA and her boys there. We hadn't hung out in awhile it was great to catch up!

JED got off work at 11am, so he took the cars to get their emissions test done.

ZEKE and BRAIA got to play in the sprinklers this afternoon, it was so dang hot.

JED mowed the lawns and played with the kids out back.

JED had school this evening.

We all went to the YMCA this morning.

We met DEB and her kid's at The BAY to swim. I wasn't feeling very well, so we ended up not staying very long. But the kid's had a great time!

We hung around home the rest of the day. I even took a nap with BRAIA, for 3 hours!! It felt great and I was feeling a little better after that!

My VT, LIZ came by this evening, it was our first visit.

JED worked at BB this evening. I started to feel much better by night time.

Took the kid's to the YMCA.

We met VANESSA and her girls at the BROOMFIELD Rec Center for swimming and indoor playground play. We all had fun. It was a nice change to swim inside.

JED and I went shopping for a new Grill, we desperately need one. We didn't find one we liked...so searching is still on...

ADLEIGH got her 18 month old pictures done. They turned out cute, surprisingly! She was terrible...screaming, crying, hitting, etc. She really does not like strangers. Of course, as soon as we were done, she was running around laughing, talking and squilling! What a little burger...

JED had school this evening.

We all went to the YMCA.

We then headed up to Longmont to visit a friend, DONNA, I hadn't seen her since last summer. It was so much fun to hang out with her again. Her kid's had gotten SO big and she looked great. She had a pot luck lunch with a bunch of friends, it was sweet of her to invite us!

I FINALLY finished burning all of our home videos, I have been doing it for about 2 weeks and so my living room can finally go back to being just that instead of a computer/video studio.

I figured I would put in that Michael Jackson died...shocking!! I thought it was such a joke but it was true. Crazy...he was such a weirdo but had great music. Sad day...his poor kids!

JED worked at BB tonight.

I made fish for the FIRST time ever...the kid's did NOT like it, JED said it was way good.

We made it to the YMCA early this morning. All of my class have changed to later in the morning except for my Friday class, I was worried I wouldn't wake up in time because I have been spoiled with sleeping in!

We met PA and her boys at McDonalds for lunch and chat time. Gosh - we could talk forever...literally! We have so much to talk about I guess...I like listening to her drama of a life :)

I met my PARENTS for dinner at Red Robin. AUSTIN was off work so he was able to come. The kid's love seeing their grandparents. They are leaving town tomorrow for my DAD'S 40th high school reunion and they just had to see them before they left!

JED worked at BB again this evening :(

JED had to go into work early this morning.

I FINALLY bought a bike trailer and so I was way excited to take the kid's on a bike ride. We rode for about an hour (maybe a little too long for TATUM). It was so much fun, ADLEIGH and BRAIA liked me pulling them and I think we are going to make it a Saturday morning THING!

I made a Saturday's Chore Chart. I am so tired of cleaning the whole house by myself. The kid's actually liked having chores, I am sure that will change as they get older :)

JED got off at 2pm and we went to Aurora to AMAZING JAKE'S. It was a lot of fun but a little...well, dirty. I couldn't eat there because I felt like I needed to bathe first :) My kid's had a wonderful time, it definitely tired them out!
AUSTIN came over tonight to play Rock Band. It was tons of fun!

I took the kids to the YMCA.
Since I have been starting to lose a LITTLE weight again, I realized that I have NO shirts that fit, so I went shopping for some tops. It was hard to find because I am so picky about shirts but ended up finding 5 really cute ones :)
JED had school this evening.

JED was off work this morning, he had an interview with Red Rocks.
I took the kids to the YMCA.
We met JED at the mall after the meeting and got dessert with the kids. The ice cream lady was nice, she gave all my kids a free ice cream cone :)
JED had to work at BEST BUY tonight. I like how he is working there again, the discounts are GREAT but I do miss have him home in the evenings. Especially since he switched to a BOULDER route, he gets home around noon EVERY day.
My BEST friend from high school, MONICA, drove down here to visit and hang out. It was GREAT to catch up with her, it had been almost a year since we saw each other. We always have such a great time together.

It was so hot this afternoon that I turned on the sprinklers for the kids.

We hung around home all day and did NOTHING, it was GREAT!
JED had school this evening, he is really enjoying his communication class.

I took the kids to the YMCA.
We hung around home again. The kids all got naps, I got free, QUIET time. The house got clean and life is good :)

We went to the YMCA this morning.
We then met DEB and her kids at the Longmont pool. It was SO hot. Everyone got burned, except for DARK BRAIA and ADLEIGH (only because I kept putting sunscreen on her because she burned that one time and so I was afraid to let it happen again). Not sure why the 3 of us burned because we all wore sun block and I FRIED my back - weird!

JED worked at BEST BUY tonight. We came by and visited him and he showed me my NEW camera...although, we still have YET to buy it...JULY 13 (the day he gets his discount!)

I can't believe that JUNE it almost over, where has the time gone!
This morning JED went off to BB to work.
I took the kids out front to play, while I cleaned up the car for camping :)
They ended up over at GREG'S house (our Police Officer neighbor) to play with their daughter, AZZA. It was nice to only have to watch ADLEIGH for a couple of hours. The kids still do NOT believe me that he is a COP, haha

After JED got home from work at 1pm, we piled in the car to leave for ROCKY MT National Park to camp. As we were driving up there we noticed that the clouds were getting dark and so we figured it would rain but stop by the time we made it up there. WRONG It literally started raining as we pulled into our camp site. So JED (such a good husband) got out and started setting up the tent in the POURING rain, hoping that it would stop soon (this crazy June weather!) It did stop pouring pretty fast and just drizzled for a few hours. We got out of the car and finished setting up camp and started dinner. We made hotdogs and hamburgers. The kids really enjoyed "making" their own dinner. After dinner, we TRIED to remember some camp songs, we couldn't remember very many so ZEKE wanted to play this "tag" game called "Chicken and Fox." JED played with the kids for a while and then took them on a short hike. We also did a singing talent show. Each kid picked a song to sing and we filmed it, it was so hilarious! We made some yummy s'mores, DEB told me a fun way to make them and they were so GOOD! We then went to bed around 9:30pm, while JED, ADLEIGH and I stayed awake longer just talking around the fire. It was a good and easy day of camping, unlike our past experiences! We didn't forget to bring things this time :) but one import one...our pan to cook BREAKFAST...

It started raining as soon as we got there...JED set up while we all set in the car watching a movie :)

ADLEIGH liked carrying around the umberella, although she wasn't really using it right!

Today was Fast Sunday. I made a crock pot chili, so that it would be waiting after church :) My parents came over and we all went to the park, they brought their dog, Mazie. After we played at the park we came home and had a yummy dessert, Strawberry Cream Pie. Very relaxing Sunday, just the way we like them!

Went over to Meredeth's house to play.
TATUM had her dance class this afternoon. It was a dress rehearsal, and I finally figured out a REALLY easy way to get her hair up in a bun, she looked way cute. I got to film and take pictures.

Tonight was Taco night...JED had to go to school, so he missed it :(

ZEKE went over to Carson's house after lunch. We then met them all at the Rec Center park.
I finally went grocery shopping, it had been awhile.
JED made dinner for the kids and put them to bed.
I met a couple of friends (Deb and Alicia) for dinner at Carrabba's, it was so yummy and I definitely ate WAY to much! It was so much fun hanging out and talking with them.

JED stayed home today from work
I got the 3 older kids to the YMCA, JED kept ADLEIGH home with him. He spent the morning studying.
He had some training that he did in the afternoon for his job.

TATUM had her first dance rehearsal at the High school. So I took her, they ran through the dance 3 times and even went through the whole show. TATUM was so funny to watch (I posted the video below :)

Again, we all went to the YMCA this morning.
I spent the whole day cleaning our house, we haven't been home all week so it really needed it.
I also caught up on One Tree Hill, that show is just getting old :(
We had a HAIL storm today, it was the size of quarter's, this weather the past 2 weeks has been WILD, what is going on!!?? BRAIA was scared to death of the thunder and lightening...I guess she never saw lightening before...she came running to me (hyperventilating) say, "I saw a crack in the sky!!"
It was opening night for TATUM'S dance recital. We showed up early to save seats, to find that we couldn't even sit down until 30 minutes before the show started!! She did great, lucky she doesn't get stage fright. On the way home she says, "I like being on the stage so people can watch me...I am so beautiful." hehehe
We then went to dinner with my parents at Mimi's to celebrate with her. She was so thrilled to have the evening just for her.

JED had to go to work training early this morning.
I actually slept in and missed my yoga class :)
We hung around the house till JED got home and then spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning, reorganizing ZEKE'S room...love a clean home!

TATUM had her last dance recital this evening. Just her and I went...I volunteered to help in the back with the girls. So I spent the first half of the show in the back with the girls, helping them get ready and then taking them up on stage. TATUM did great tonight, she actually did most of the dance...on TIME! I am so proud of her and glad that she is so out-going enough to get on stage and have a great time!
