Road Trip
So we took a FAST (literally) trip to Utah to visit family. We were only there for about a DAY and a HALF. I spent most the time taking PICTURES of course. So here are some from our trip...

We went to Church at 11am. I ended up having to do 2 hours of nursery...I can only take OTHER 2 year old's for so long, not sure why they would have me watch kid's when I am with my kid's ALL week long!
We then all played games and SPENCER got to see how LOUD we really are. We all try and out talk each other!
It was so nice to see them and sit around talking. Maybe we can convince them to move out here!? :)

JED was off today. We had planned on going skiing but we didn't realize it was President's Day and figured it would be really busy. So we just stayed home.
I took all the kid's to the YMCA because there was no school.
JED ended up having a client call and needed a repair, so he went out to Longmont to take care of the job.I went to the mall...I didn't realize there was going to be so many sells because of President's Day!
FHE was a weird one tonight, the kid's drew out the story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So we basically talked about doing what you have been asked will give you blessing.

BOO had school this morning, I took the other 3 kid's to the YMCA.
During nap time I went upstairs to check on the girls (I put BEAR in my bed to sleep) and the covers were over BEAR'S head, as I got closer I noticed RED spots all over my WHITE down comforter. Thinking that she was bleeding I pull the covers back and BEAR has TAY'S new make-up all over her face, the bed, her arms. Needless to say I was not very happy but I snapped a picture one she fell asleep!
BEAR had her Dance class this evening.
BOO had Basketball practice. JED took TAY with them and he worked on dribbling with her.

BOO and TAY had school this morning. I took the younger girls to the YMCA.
We met the CANNON'S at McDonald's for lunch. The kid's got to run and play and get ALL of the energy out...well, most of it :)
We went over to visit with LIBERTY and her 2 kid's this afternoon. TAY really likes playing with MIKAELA.
We have planned a trip to visit my brother's family and some of Jed's family, so I spent the rest of the day trying to get my house in order and stuff packed.
I went visiting teaching with DEB tonight. It was our first time out, so we really got to meet the 2 girls we visit. It was nice and fun to get away from the kid's for a couple of hours.

BOO had School and we went to the YMCA after dropping him off. We had a sub teacher in my class and she was so hard...so crossing my fingers that I HURT tomorrow!
BEAR has made a really good friend named SAM at the Y. So I finally talked with her mom, VANESSA, and we planned on getting together at the mall and letting the girls play. They were so darn cute. It is funny because SAM is a little older than TAY but TAY would rather play by herself and BEAR loves to play with friends. Anyways, we had a really great time!
I had a doctor's appointment and TAY got to go with me. In the exam room they have pictures of a women's body (ya know what I mean :) and she was going through all the parts and asking what they were and what they did...and then after we were all done, she went through the picture again telling ME what everything was. She is so fascinated with her body and baby's...she tells me she wants to "get the babies out."
JED got to take BEAR to Gymnastics. They were doing tryouts for excelled league. He said it was fun to see her have to do everything she has been taught.

We left for our trip this afternoon. It was actually pretty relaxing. The kid's watched DVD after DVD...or played DS. It was great that our kid's are getting old enough to entertain themselves in the car. Although, TAY started asking, "are we there yet?" as we were driving out of our street and she asked for the first 2 hours every 5 minutes, finally she stopped! CAT had her own movie to watch and she LOVED it.
We arrived at my brother's house around 10:30pm. The girls were so excited to see ABREE! CARTER was already asleep!

We woke up extra earlier because the kid's were making WAY to much noise. They were so excited to see their cousins.
KIERSTEN and her kid's went with us to the BOUNTIFUL temple. It was so beautiful and the day was gorgeous. I got some great pictures. I didn't realize how pretty that temple was.
We went out to lunch at ARTIC CIRCLE. They kid's got to play on the playground there.
We met JED'S parents, brother, uncle and grandma at OUTBACK for dinner. He was excited to see them, he hadn't seen his grandma since our wedding. After dinner, we headed over to the mall and walked around, talked.
JED and I stayed up late playing WII FIT. I so want to get one now! It was fun to play around with.

1. I HAVE to watch movies and TV shows with the captions ON. I LOVE to read what I am hearing, I think it steams from having kid's and them being too loud to hear my shows :) It drives my WHOLE family crazy!
2. I have played GUITAR since I was 11 years old. I LOVE to pull it out and sing. For the first 6 months I had the guitar and took lessons I NEVER practiced, my teacher was so upset with me that he told my parents he didn't want to teach me if I wasn't going to practice, I spent a week going over the 10 or so songs he had "tried" teaching me and within a week I could play them ALL and sing along, needless to say he was impressed!
3. I have wanted to be a mom since I was 5 years old, my dad use to tell me to go to Law School first because I was such a good debater but I would say "nope, I wanna be a mom." Although, I only wanted BOYS and I wanted 12 of them, seriously! My mom use to say, "wait till you have ONE and that number will change," my number has definitely dropped BUT I wouldn't want my life any other way. Even on the days when my kids are driving me CRAZY, I wouldn't change a thing, I LOVE my life!
4. I got REALLY sick with my 3rd baby and had to be put in the hospital at 30 weeks and was told I would stay there until my due date. GRATEFULLY, they induced me a week later because I was getting sicker (I had pre-clampsia)...poor BEAR had to be born early but I couldn't have spent the next 3 months in the hospital, in the DARK, with 2 kid's at home. It was the HARDEST 5 weeks of my life and thankfully my beautiful baby girl is PERFECT and HEALTHY.
5. I was a wild child in high school...not sure my family even knows most of what I did :) ...I BARELY graduated from high school because I only went to class 5 times the whole first and half of the second semester. My dad had to go and BEG the principal to let me graduate. I ended up having to work in the office to make up for my absences...but he couldn't understand how my GPA was a 3.0 without me going, so that was the main reason he let me GRADUATE! Stupid stupid teenager, hahaha
6. My mom and I had the WORST relationship growing up. I mean BAD. We just didn't like each other. I left home RIGHT after my finals and missed my high school GRADUATION to get away from her :) She is NOW my best friend. We are so close and I don't know what I would do without her. She is such a great grandmother to my kid's and I am lucky to have her in my life.
