You first part the hair on the side and then start french braiding until you get as far back as you want and then finish the braid, very easy, fast and looks really cute!

How do I get my girls hair to HOLD?

Seriously I don't put anything on it. I rub Thera-Silk in their hair before I "do" it but rarely do I spray hair-spray or use gel. So sorry, no help on this question.

Okay, so my friends at church and school asked me "How do I get my girls to sit while I do their hair"

AND

I MAKE THEM :) Sorta! I let them pick their FAV tv show (naughty I know) and then I give them their breakfast; they usually eat and watch while I pull away! If they are having a hard time and really don't want me to do it, I let them pick out the bows/bands/style they want (they are 2 and 3 so I end up doing whatever style I want to do and they think its something they picked, so it works out well for now!)

We used the "flip-do" method to give her hair some volume on top and then she curled with a straight-iron to make ringlets, she looked so cute (ignore the so-serious face :)
This is my FAVORITE because its so easy and soooooo cute!! Plus, it holds really well, especially if they play HARD at church! ;)
